Uncle of mine in the 80's worked as a detective looking to bust prostitutes and their customers. He of course wore street clothes, carried a .22 mag 4 shot derringer in one pocket of his jeans, bulged out about like a set of car keys, then had a snub nosed .38 strapped to an ankle. Don't think he ever had to use either one.

I used to bartend, had a customer that showed me his large cowboy belt buckle he was wearing, had what looked like that same type of .22 derringer affixed to the belt buckle. I thought it was for decoration, he said it was real. I said "need another beer?"

You cant make this stuff up. Just to add my 2 cents. There are Bikers out there, that use the fanny pouch to secure there personal property. I am still smiling.
