Weekend Lead Generation / Sales Testing . . .

If they choose to come sell from the Call Center - they in essence aren't Independent. Because they agree not to have appointments with any other Carrier while working with us.

Our typical Agent should sell 2 policies a week at an avg of $60 monthly per policy - Part Time - 4 days a week - 4 hours a day . . . 1st Year Commission - 6 month Advance - with Bonus - that should be close to $540 a week - for 16 hours of work . . . $30+ an hour . . .

If they stick around - they will earn $30 per month for month's 7 thru 12 - which after deducting a 25% chargeback - they may have 42 accts paying $30 -or- an additional $1260 a month + Bonus.

We'll just have to see . . .
Sound like a great plan. I am excited for you.

Easier doesn't make it legal. But you got this.

It's not rocket science Chase. They are issued a 1099 from the Carrier - that makes them a 1099 Contractor since they receive income solely on a Commission basis from the Carrier.

The bonuses we pay them, if any, are subject to W2 since we have certain requirements of them . . . It will be okay. This is why we use a PEO to handle all that.

If you say so. Good luck to ya. Paying someone a 1099 does not make them a 1099 contractor, the duties you have them perform or not perform does. If they are in your office, using your script, your leads, your direction, your toilet, your anything in the slightest they are your EMPLOYEE. Dude you are hard headed. But I assume you have already done a SS-8 determination with the State Of Georgia.

Im gonna help you out again. This is straight from the IRS.

"You are not an independent contractor if you perform services that can be controlled by an employer (what will be done and how it will be done). This applies even if you are given freedom of action. What matters is that the employer has the legal right to control the details of how the services are performed."

But hey you got this, its not your first Rodeo.

Should I post the info from Georgia also?

The only thing this train wreck does is use different colors in his posts. I'm sure it's simply because he isn't good at anything else.

He's failed at some many attempts to have others sell on his behalf and he will fail again. This is a guy who really needs to learn to sell and/or get a J.O.B.

He has one "friend" on this forum but I can't imagine anyone expecting anything other than yet another failure. Include his "friend."

This is more me...

Hahaha, I saw an old Western the other day. 2 of the bad guys were the Skipper and the Professor.

Hmmmmmm....................

So my problem with this knuckle-head is he is going to hurt a lot of agents that just want to make money and feed there families. His ignorance and stupitity is blatant and obvious. (I did that on purpose for the little yellow bus riders)

Now that is true cold D2D... a tough racket but, you take someone who can make even just a go at this and then place a warm lead in front of them... now that is selling.

Haven't made it through the entire thread so this may have been suggested.
Why not do the opposite: have the rookie do the approaching and appointment setting and send the experienced person in to make the sale. That is what some of the d2d security companies do.

Pay the rookie a flat fee per appointment and/or a small percent of sale. Have them follow you for the sale, after a few weeks/months they are now the "experienced" agent and some rookie is setting appointments for them. Rinse and repeat
