Door Knocking DM Leads

I like to door knock my DM leads. I do find myself finding lots of the leads not home. I use a rout planner, hit them all then backtrack for the day.

Just curious if there is a better way to get more presentations done in a day? I seem to only get 0 to 2 or three in a day.

Thanks for any advice!

What ages are you mailing? I organize my leads by age. Hiring the older ones early in the day then the younger in the afternoon/evenings.

For the record, I door knock about 99%of my leads.

So is it really practical to door knock leads way out in the sticks? I've been driving around working DM leads in rural areas for the last couple of weeks, and what gets me is even older folks (70s & 80s) are never home! A lot of them also live on unpaved county roads that are closed because of the flooding.

Is it really cost effective to drive 60 miles from home and then another 30 (because you have to calculate an alternate route when you can't get down their road), only to find nobody is there? Of course, a lot of them don't put a phone number on the lead card so you can't call them in advance either. :goofy:

If you have no number and can't find one in the book you have no choice.

I know some days suck but you you gotta see them somehow

The no number on the card seems to be the hardest lead to sell I have ever experienced. Might just be my experience but it's a real up hill climb.

How do you guys handle blank DM cards? I'm averaging around 1 per week on a set price order of 20. Once or twice would be no big deal but the people don't appear to have any clue what it's about when I DK them.

My guys return it to the lead company for replacement or refund.

Believe it or not, I'm being told the lead company considers it a lead and won't give me credit.
