With my FE folks, most of those Ring doorbells don't work. I knock rather than ring the doorbell, but some of them are motion activated. If they talk to me through the doorbell, I pretend not to hear them. I do the same when they yell from behind their closed door.

who is it ? What do you want ? So when you don't answer them from the ring bell or behind the door and keep knocking they open the door ? Never seen that . They keep asking till you answer . You keep knocking they'll call the cops . Had it happen .

I might say something like, "I'm sorry, I can't hear you through the door."

But you're wrong. Never had the cops called over doing that. In fact, they usually just open the door lol

If it's important to you then it's important to you. They don't give a shit if its gold, purple, green or flaming red.

I'm not turning up anything. Even keel. Even to the assholes. I don't try to talk my way in. If they don't want to meet with me then I don't want to meet with them. On to someone that does want to talk.

People care about one thing, what's in it for me? Not the color of the card for sure.

How is it "powerful"? Making them remember? They remembered it anyway. That's just usually the first excuse.

Countless times I hear, "that's not my writing, I didn't send that in". Me, "ok, you didn't sign up for anything. I'm not here to collect". Then they completely change. "Yeah, I am interested in getting info on that".

The pretending to not remember got rid of the last guy and the one before that.

But again, if you think it helps you, it helps you.

Anybody could do that. That's a good way to end the week with maybe 3 or 4 sales. Not a good way to earn trips or produce a high income.

Out of 20 leads, there are probably 3 lay down sales. A trained monkey could write those folks. But there are probably 7-8 more buyers, that a professional agent can close.

True, I'm not the average agent. Been in for almost 3 years. Not long. But I've done a fair amount of production in that time.

6 or 7 may be closer to true. I was estimating, and perhaps I should have been a bit more conservative. The point remains that you'll maybe get 3 sales by writing only the lay downs or low hanging fruit.

I'm a strong believer that we each will tend to get the results that match our thoughts.

May sound "new agey" to some.

But I 100% believe in the power of positive thinking.

And I therefore also 100% believe in the power of negative thinking.

When I was running Facebook leads that @HoosierLife was selling back in 2018-2019, I was closing 8 to 12 sales out of 20 leads.

I wasn't closing all 10-12 from the fresh batch each week. But over several months of keeping then in my knocking queue, I'd close 8 to 12 policies.

But by the time every lead from any particular batch had been accounted for by virtue of me having laid eyes on that person, I'd easily have written at least 8 policies. Now, probably 4 of those, minimum, were husband & wife. So, you can parse the numbers to match you mindset a little closer if you'd like.

My experience with DM's was pretty much the same.

He did over $300K last year on 20 leads per week.

He's on pace for $400K this year on 20 leads per week.

He's over $40K this month.

He earned KSKJ CEO level last year. And also earned the Trinity trip.

He's already earned the KSKJ trip for next year and just about earned the Trinity trip already.

He is the real deal. He can correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is his 3rd year in FE.

He was captive before that.
