Assumption Closing

hat also applies to agents.... Think about it, if you want to run a comparison quote, what face amount do you use? Whenever agents asks for premiums on the forum, they invariably ask for the rates for $10K... Sometimes, I wonder if agents shortchange their client and themselves because they do not think in terms of larger face amounts?

It seems to me like I read an article once that said a meeting strategy for getting attendees there and on time was to set an odd time like 9:02 am for the start.

Would it be of use for an agent to present a both larger and odd amount, like $14,250?

2 items to this point...

1. You need a way to remind yourself about those clients you should see again and that ties into good solid CRM with good client notes (new agents would do well to learn this early on, wish I had)

2. Simple ancillary products other than just life to position to (I prefer a cancer plan, low cost simple issue, universal as death itself)

Where were you guys when I started????
CRM? Talking about a box and a 3X5 card? .... ;)

Many agents do just that by choosing to quote premiums in even amounts, $40.00, $50.00, $60.00 etc.. Not sure but it seems I remember reading Tim Winders does it that way.

Sounds like Colonial Penn face amounts.

Yeah started that way... I kept loosing my cards along with my mind.

It has begun to look to me like the modern insurance agent has a technology learning curve only slightly less than than of a corporate IT tech guy.

What scares me is that computers are getting to the point where they actually could have a conversation. So, to keep myself from being too creeped out by that, I told Siri to call me "You Sexy Thing". That was still creepy. So I changed it to a female voice.

Is Siri one of those blow up dolls like the ones Ben has in his Boom Boom Room? :err:
